“Verweben 2023” is a version of the installation “weaving 2019” especially adapted for Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche, in which taut shiny strings of copper cable are suspended side by side like oversized looms. Visitors move freely between the cable structures and wearing a special wireless magnetic headset they hear various sounds: rhythms of electric looms, electromagnetic fields of digital networks, and data carriers, power lines, and transformers. Different movement sequences through the space create individual listening experiences and sonic superimpositions; the listener becomes an active co-author of the acoustic events.
