The Belgian sound artist Jeroen Vandesande (born 1986) completed his master degree at LUCA School of Arts in Gent and has been working as a professional sound artist since 2004. In addition to his live performances, he also creates sound installations and regularly works together with musicians and performers. For Klangraum Krems Minorite Church he has developed instruments that generate acoustic feedback in his sound installation CIRCUIT03. Loudspeakers in six glass tubes move from above towards microphones mounted at the bottom. The composition changes depending on the form and the length of the tubes, the position of the loudspeakers, and where the visitors are standing.
Circuit 03 is an installation by Jeroen Vandesande, a production of overtoon with the support of Flanders State of the Art.
From June 5 until July 31 there will be guided tours through the two sound installations, the Klangraum Krems Minorite Church, and the historical monastery.
