Moderated Concert

Moderated concert. Works by Grażyna Bacewicz, Józef Koffler, and Agata Zubel

The second year of the series “Zwischentöne Polen” (Poland Overtones) is dedicated to two key topics. On the one hand, composer Józef Koffler, who was murdered by the National Socialists in 1944, stands for the musical and music-historical ties between Poland, Ukraine, and Austria. On the other hand, we take a look at the music of Poland from a different perspective by following the traces of Polish women composers: Grażyna Bacewicz (1909–1969), Hannah Kulenty (*1961), and Agata Zubel (*1978).

In cooperation with the Polish Institute Vienna.
